The founders of Smocks are Kelley Culp and Christopher Ireland. Kelley is a fashion designer living in New York. After graduating from design school, she worked as a fashion editor in NYC for 6 years. Watching the magazine industry die a slow death did not seem like the best way to spend her career, so she partnered with Christopher to start Smocks. Christopher is Kelley's mom (despite the masculine name, Christopher is a girl) but she also spent 20 years as a marketing and brand consultant to some pretty big companies. She lives on the West Coast, loves technology and recently rediscovered her kitchen. Fortunately, Kelley and Christopher's skills complement each other. Staff meetings are a breeze.
